We perform ergonomic assessments on an individual basis while educating and coaching the employee or home office worker. We work with the employee
and management to optimise the workstation.
Office assessment and recommendations
We will interview employees for discomforts and frequent tasks then assess workstation requirements. Identify priorities for ergonomic improvements based on workstation needs, operator discomfort, and exposure to computer tasks.
We can also offer advanced DSE assessments, taking into account pre-existing medical conditions and injury to provide solutions to ongoing occupational stress. This combines a biomechanical and orthopedic assessment with the individuals workstation (DSE) assessment.
Musculo-skeletal disorders are the most common occupational illnesses in Great Britain; affecting 1.0 million people a year. They include problems such as low back pain, joint injuries and repetitive strain injuries.
Taking care of our bodies can not only improve well-being but can reduce the number of working days lost through poor health.
We provide on-site DSE (display screen equipment) workstation assessments to enable DSE users to minimise the stress associated with seated posture and computer use. It is our intention to provide a high quality and bespoke service, that benefits the client, much the same way as our patients benefit from our unique Osteopathic perspective.
