Obelisk is a design of monumental grandeur and presence. While it has a formality about it on the one hand, this has then been played with and some great twists added. The essentially rectangular upholstered forms that make up the body of this piece, have striking angular facets, while the whole thing has a pronounced tilt and is slightly elevated onbroad, sturdy, formed steel legs. The generous size, method of construction, and excellent ergonomics provide superb comfort and personalspace in both the chair and sofa.
Finishes: The upholstered parts can be covered in either leather or a wide range of contract quality fabrics, including customers own material, but non stretch fabrics are not recommended. Legs are available in polished chrome only.
Marketplace: This is an overtly contemporary signature piece on a grand scale, that is ideally suited to modern corporate atria, breakout spaces, executive lounges, retail environments and the hotel sector. Although dramatic and dynamic, Obelisk also has a domestic feel to it, but with a contract seating build and durability.
