Stress is one of the biggest enemies of the modern workplace. The biggest issue with stress is just how individualised it is. What one person would consider challenging, another person would consider stressful. This means a blanket approach to stress simply doesn’t work. Targets might motivate one person, but may completely stress out another.
As an individual employee, do you feel that you have a handle on stress? Do you make use of certain types of office furniture help you confess and cope with challenging workloads and situations? For instance, do you use desk pods when you need five minutes’ time out? Do you make use of breakout areas and the office sofa when things get a little too much?

Facing the source of your stress head on is the only way to banish it completely, but this can be challenging in itself. Make sure you speak to your manager if you really feel that stress is becoming too much for you, and make use of equipment like office screens, to help you focus and concentrate, without feeling overwhelmed.
With the right stress management awareness, we can all eventually get a handle on our own individual stressors.
