Activity & Productivity at work

You might think that focusing on your health and wellbeing via exercise could be counterproductive to the work you’re supposed to be doing. How are you supposed to be active at your office chairs and get your work done?

It’s actually easier than you think.

Check out this video for 10 simple exercises you can do in the office, which won’t eat into your work time.

You could join forces with a colleague and do your exercises together, or simply alone. Remembering to take your breaks and head off for a walk is a good idea, and if you’re able to, how about incorporating walking meetings rather than those spent around the conference room furniture?

Whether you opt to do a few yoga stretches at your desk, you go for a swim on your lunch break, or you regularly do your stretches whilst sat at the modern contemporary office furniture, being as active as possible is vital if you want to avoid the damaging effects of a sedentary lifestyle. Office workers are particularly at risk of these effects purely for the amount of time spent sat at desks.

How do you incorporate exercise into your day, whilst also remaining productive?
