Stress management

If you’ve ever reached your cut off point when it comes to stress, you’ll understand how the term “I’m going to explode” actually feels. Extreme stress is dangerous, and learning how to manage it is vital if you want to live a healthy and happy life.

Stress management encompasses a range of different techniques and methods, with some being as simple as sitting on the office sofa for five minutes and closing your eyes, or heading outside for a breath of fresh air. Meditation is also useful for controlling stress, giving you a more balanced and calm outlook in general.

If you like the idea of learning how to use your breath to help control stress, check out this video below.

As you can see, breath isn’t only a vital life force, but something we can use to help control difficult situations and our reactions to them. You might find it difficult to sit in the middle of the office and perform this type of deep relaxation technique, but you can take yourself away somewhere private, perhaps to one of the desk pods to hide yourself away for a few minutes, or even to one of the corner desks, maybe facing a wall.
