A creative office space is certainly an inspiring and motivating place to work, but is it a suitable option for everyone?
This type of office design is far from mainstream. It is composed of the funky office desk, bright colours, perhaps inspiring quotes on the wall, and it is all designed to inspire creative ideas and suggestions. Whilst the thought behind it could fit in with any business, the colourful and creative vibe simply wouldn’t suit a business which traded in serious issues, e.g. funeral care, maybe life insurance, immigration, and other issues which are far from bright and cheery.
Whenever you make changes to your office design, you need to make sure that it fits in with who you are as a business and your identity. If you do this, you can create any type of workspace, but with colours and decor which suits. For instance, bright mesh chairs may not ‘go’ in a monochrome office, but black, grey, or white would. It’s about making compromises and choosing carefully.
