Is Your Office Design in Line With Your Business Identity?

Published on 30/10/2019

We all know that brand identity is important. Put simply, it allows other people, i.e. your customers, to know who you are, what you’re about, and what you can do for them.

With that in mind, it’s important that the overall design of your office is in keeping with that identity too.

Why?

Because if you confuse things by going completely against the grain, you’re going to confuse those who enter your office too!

For example, if you’re a children’s toy company, designing new toys and selling them on, you would probably opt for modular office furniture, a bright design, and a fun feel to the space, right? You wouldn’t go for a dark or overly formal appearance, because this wouldn’t be in keeping with what you’re selling.

Can you see what we’re getting at?

Look at your office and decide whether it is in keeping with what you do as a business. If not, perhaps it’s time to change things a little. You don’t have to go down the line of the most up to date design trends, but you do need to make sure that customers and visitors aren’t confused by what you’re providing to them, e.g. products and services, and the appearance you’re projecting.

Make sure they match!

What bout your office? Do you think your brand identity is reflected in your office design?
