No Space For a Home Office?

Published on 11/11/2019

If you want to work from home, or you already do and you want to be more productive, it pays to focus on developing a comfortable home office.

The problem is, not everyone has the space for a full-on office in their home, and not everyone has a spare room they can dedicate to office furniture and productivity.

It’s a good idea to have a dedicated area for your office, to ensure that it doesn’t encroach on your home life, but having a simple corner can be enough. All you need to do is ensure that you do your research inset the features of a quality home office space before you start moving things around.

  • Move your dining room furniture around and see if you can arrange things differently
  • If you have a spare room but it’s particularly small, you can still make an office out of it
  • Do you have a conservatory? This is ideal for a home office!
  • Dedicate a simple corner to your work, but make sure that’s placed behind you when sitting on your sofa, so you’re not tempted to log on during your out of work hours
