Employee engagement

There are many buzz terms in the business world and sometimes it’s hard to know what they really mean.
One which you might of heard of is ‘employee engagement’.

This has nothing to do with impending marriages and everything to do with how committed an employee is to your business and the work they do. The higher the amount of employee engagement, the more successful a business will be, the more ideas will come from around the 8 person conference table, and the more willing an employee will be to go the extra mile. It all works very closely with morale, and the fact that employees aren’t simply waiting for Friday to come around.

Of course, there are many things which drive employee engagement. Check out this infographic for a few pointers.

It also means supporting any ideas which come from chats around the meeting room chairs, and encouraging staff in the work they do.

Put simply, the better your employee engagement, the more successful your business.
