We all know that the reception area of any building needs to be super-impressive. This is an unwritten rule in the laws of running a business. If you have a messy, untidy, and generally unprofessional reception area then you are going to create a terrible first impression. Those impressions are hard to shift.

We came across this very useful infographic (shown below), which outlines 20 ways to make a real impression in your reception area. What do you think?

 
 

One of those items is durable and luxurious office furniture. Why? Because you need to showcase quality in order for visitors to think that, the standard of your business is the same. Part of this is also about comfort. If you expect your visitors to sit and wait on hard, uncomfortable chairs, you’re going to put them in a bad mood from the start. Tub chairs are ideal for reception areas, because they look more like living room armchairs, but still have that ‘just right’ amount of support for a workplace setting.

You could also look into office sofas, if you wanted a more relaxing vibe to your waiting area. It really depends on the type of business you’re running, but modern reception area seating should look inventive, yet comfortable.
