When you consider the word ‘stylish’ what do you think? Do you picture sleek lines, monochrome, or particular decor & texture combinations, or do you think of colours, fabrics, and light?
Everyone has a different take on what stylish is, but overall, an office is stylish if everything within it sits in general harmony.
For instance, the colours need to compliment each other, the lines need to be consistent, the shapes need to look like they ebb and flow, and nothing should be glaringly out of place. For most people, that is what real style is.
The effects of having a stylish office are about more than it simply looking great. Your employees will want to work in that space, I know I would! This also gives a great first impression to your visitors, who will have an instantly professional picture of you as a company.
Another area to think about is colour choice. Certain colours affect mood, and if you want to get the best out of your employees, it’s time to learn about it! Blues and greens are ideal for tranquility, reds and oranges are for fire and passion, and cool shades of grey, white, and black are equally as relaxing, but create a clean feel, which has the direct impact of aiding productivity. Again, we want to work in an environment we find attractive and stimulating.
