Remote working is one of the biggest work trends of the moment, but the ability to work from anywhere poses a question – where exactly is the best place to work from?
Whilst it’s entirely possible to sit on an exotic beach and type away at your laptop, we’re going to burst your bubble – glare from the sun does nothing for your eyes, the heat does nothing for your tiredness levels, and the sand does nothing for your laptop. All in all, the beach is out, unless you can invent some kind of sun-proof desk pod which protects you and your laptop!
Probably the best spot for a remote worker is a co-working space. Here you can meet new people, share stories, network, and you get to use the awesome office chairs and other facilities they have in place. Of course, you could also work from home if you choose to, and that means purchasing office furniture which is going to blend into your decor and support you throughout your working hours too.
Every remote worker has their own preference in terms of where they like to work and where they find the best level of productivity. It also comes down to the time of day you’re most productive too, and this varies from person to person. Surely the freedom to find out your own preferences has to be pull towards remote working however?
Are you a remote worker?
