Coffee to drink for Energy And Focus

Coffee is big business these days, you only have to walk down the High Street and count the number of coffee shops to prove that. Caffeine is a mild stimulant which not only gets us out of bed in the mornings and helps us fire on all cylinders whilst sitting around the conference table, but can also help us to focus better, provided you don’t drink too much and take the effects the other way.

There are countless different types of coffee available, but are some better than others?

Whilst you’re sitting at your executive desk in the mornings, do you sip on a latte or a mocha? We’ve some bad news for you; you’re not getting the best amount of caffeine from a milky coffee drink such as this, and you’re actually adding unnecessary calories to your day. Most coffee is made from arabica coffee beans and these are towards the lower end of the caffeine spectrum, at around 1.5% caffeine. You’ll get a hit of energy from this, but not if you steep it in milk and sugar! Espresso is the best way to boost your brain, or opting for finely ground coffee instead. Not a lover of strong coffee? Add a little milk, but try and avoid added sugar.

Many people use productivity tools such as music for extra concentration, but changing your morning coffee to an espresso could be just the ticket. If you’re making the most of the collaborative workspace furniture in your office and brainstorming a task, a cup of java will certainly get your brain neurons firing!
