This is called biophilic office design and basically means that you’re bringing elements of nature into the space and benefiting from them as a result. Anything natural is instantly calming and when you have office plants dotted around strategically, you’re helping your employees to soak up that calming vibe, therefore meaning that stress is less likely.

There isn’t a lot of downside to a biophilic office. Yes, the maintenance is there but it’s not going to take over your day. As long as you choose plants that require very minimal looking after, then you can easily grab the benefits and notice a less stressful feel in your office in general.
