Do Extroverts Overtake Introverts in The Workplace

Extroverts overtaking introverts

Within every office there are a number of different types of people, but mostly the loud ones and the quiet ones. Learning how to manage both properly is the best option because that way you get the most out of them, benefiting your business.

If you can learn how to encourage and lead all members of staff, whether they’re sat around the boardroom table collaborating ideas, or they’re welcoming guests to your reception counter, you will overcome challenges. One of the main challenges is the possibility that extroverted members of staff may overtake the introverted employees you have.

Check out this infographic by App Influence which shows how to lead each type of personality.

The single best way to ensure this doesn’t happen is by being able to identify personality types and to know your staff.
Know their strengths, know their weaknesses, and direct your management style accordingly. Give your introverted staff the space they need to think, e.g. quiet zones, and give your extroverted staff the space they need to let out all of that energy, e.g. collaborative areas and breakout spaces. By adapting your business furniture and the space within your office, you can easily overcome these potential challenges. It’s all about approach!

Do you have any interesting ideas on how to lead and manage each personality type?
