5 Mistakes You're Making in The First Hour of Your Working Day

If you want to be productive throughout your working day, you need to start it in the best possible way. This means eating a healthy breakfast and getting a little exercise before work, but what about when you arrive at work?

There are a few mistakes which many people make when they arrive at their office desks and attempt to start work for the day.

  1. Not clearing your desk and starting off on a messy foundation. If you want to be productive, your office desk has to be set up for productivity!
  2. Drinking too much coffee early in the day, which leads to energy highs and lows
  3. Spending too much time going through your email inbox and not realising how much time you’ve spent on it
  4. Forgetting to create a to-do list and prioritise your tasks 
  5. Not setting goals for the day. This is different from your to-do list and will spur you on to complete everything you need to do, and maybe even more!
