If you want to be productive throughout your working day, you need to start it in the best possible way. This means eating a healthy breakfast and getting a little exercise before work, but what about when you arrive at work?
There are a few mistakes which many people make when they arrive at their office desks and attempt to start work for the day.
Are you guilty of any of these?
- Not clearing your desk and starting off on a messy foundation. If you want to be productive, your office desk has to be set up for productivity!
- Drinking too much coffee early in the day, which leads to energy highs and lows
- Spending too much time going through your email inbox and not realising how much time you’ve spent on it
- Forgetting to create a to-do list and prioritise your tasks
- Not setting goals for the day. This is different from your to-do list and will spur you on to complete everything you need to do, and maybe even more!
