How to Bring People Together in a Large Office Space

Group of people

Whether you have a large open plan office, or you have several separate offices which are used interchangeably, it’s important that your employees recognise themselves as one large team. Bringing people together is a vital part of the whole collaboration deal; without team working and collaboration, a business is going to find it very hard to come up with new ideas and solutions, and creativity will certainly be on the back-burner!

If your space is large, and you’re regularly resorting to individual team catch ups around your meeting room tables, how can you ensure that everyone links together and sees business success as the sole aim? Remember, morale is vital if you want to ensure productivity is on the rise, and team working is a great way to boost that.

It can be difficult to bring large groups of people together, but it’s not impossible. How about creating a ‘one for all, and all for one’ vision by having regular team building weekends? How about ensuring that you encourage collaboration and team work by using modular breakout seating, which can be moved around whenever necessary?

Competitions are also a way to boost morale and to increase the team feel in an organisation, as well as encouraging everyone to mingle during break times, perhaps in a large central canteen area or a garden space for the summer months.

Encouraging a social feel at work is certainly going to bring major benefits to a business, and will take collaboration away from the boardroom table and chairs, and throughout the space in its entirety.

Do you have any ideas on how to bring large groups of people together?
