Mesh or Tub Chair For a Collaborative Area?

Collaborative seating

If you want to implement a hot desking or agile working scenario into your workplace, the chances are that you also need a collaborative area.

This is an area which needs to be comfortable, spacious and which should also include active seating methods if at all possible. This means your employees can get a little exercise whilst sat around those boardroom flip top tables, bringing new ideas to the fore.

For standing seating in these spaces however, regular office chairs might not cut the mustard to the best of their ability, and you therefore have two main choices to think about – office tub chairs or a chair which has mesh material.

Tub chairs give that comfortable, close feel, as though the entire body is supported and sat in a cocoon. This is great for concentration because when you’re at your most relaxed you create with some great ideas! Mesh back office chairs on the other hand are a great idea because they allow air to circulate around the body, preventing discomfort due to heat.

It comes down to office design and cost in terms of the final decision, but both make a wonderful addition to a collaborative zone.

Which is your favourite?
