Colour Emotion Guide

You’ll no doubt be aware that certain colours invoke certain types of moods in people, but could the same rule apply to your marketing endeavours? It turns out that yes, it could!

Colour is not just about making your office space look attractive, it’s about how to connect with others and sell your products and services. Make sure your meeting room chairs are in a colour which inspires positivity, and you might find that meetings with potential new clients goes your way too!

The other interesting point is that people have been shown to make a judgement on a place or a product within just 90 seconds of coming into contact with it. That isn’t a lot of time to make an impact so you need to be savvy before you start. For instance, your office furniture needs to have the right look in order to impress visitors to your space, including your reception chairs, breakout furniture, etc. It’s not all about marketing the actual product, because visitations by potential clients is all part of the marketing deal too!

To further reinforce this, a study by the Journal of Marketing showed a solid connection between colour and perception of the brand’s identity.
