Start Your Day in The Most Productive Way

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, this is something we’re constantly told from childhood. Fuelling up in the right way when you wake up is the perfect start to a productive working morning, keeping you going until lunch. Nobody likes those mid-morning slumps of energy, but if you can choose a healthy, energy sustaining breakfast meal, you might not even have that slump at all!

If you’re someone who can’t eat a huge amount of food when they wake up, it’s fine to wait an hour or so, and perhaps get to work a little earlier and go and eat in the canteen before your working hours begin. However you arrange it, make sure you try something healthy and nutritious. Here are a few ideas: 

  • Whole grain toast with peanut butter or avocado
  • Some kind of egg (boiled is best) for some protein to start the day
  • Yogurt and berries
  • Smoked salmon, ideal for a boost of omega 3 brain power
  • Porridge oats for slow release energy
