Walking Meetings in The Winter Months - Yes or No?

Published on 21/10/2019

Most meetings are either unnecessary in the first place or take up too much time. In order to reduce the amount of time spent in meetings, and to boost energy and productivity levels, walking meetings have become a big thing. Despite that, can you actually have walking meetings during the colder months?

It’s no fun walking around in rain and wind, and if it snows, you’re looking at skating rather than walking! So, should walking meetings be put on hold during the winter months? Or, should you sit around the modern boardroom tables in a regular way?

Not necessarily, you can easily incorporate walking meetings into a cold but sunny day - simply wrap up warm! If the weather is adverse, however, standing meetings could take their place. This serves the same two main purposes, and ensures that nobody gets frostbite in the process!
